"I desperately need your help"

"Hello! Mom, Are you safe? Is everything ok? How difficult you are?"

"Oil cost 250 RMB per bottle. Seasoning is cost 400 RMB. Food price is too high and I could not afford to buy any to them"

“I sent you some money. You must buy food to protect yourself. Be safe from risk. Please stand still."

" I will be okay, I will hold on(weeping)."

(This is the text message between the family in North and South Korea) Radio Free Asia (RFA) released the story of a mother living in North Korea who climbed a mountaintop with a broker to avoid risk of being caught. The mother can make a phone call to her daughter who had defected in South Korea.

Mother texted to her daughter after the phone call.

" I miss you so much. Take good care yourself. I don't have much time to use this phone. Since your brother got into car accident, I don’t know what to do. I really need your help." Even though it is short paragraph but shows reality of North Korean's difficulties of their lives and the families of the North Korean Refugee. I pray for the North Korea people that They lift their eyes to see Almighty God, who create the heaven and the earth. "So the Lord must wait for you to come to him, so he can show you his love and compassion. For the Lord is a faithful God.Blessed are those who wait for his help.

O people of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. He will be gracious if you ask for help. He will surely respond to the sound of your cries." (Isaiah 30:18-19) Our Father in heaven, who hears the cry of the children and gives grace, have mercy on the difficult situation of the North Koreans who call for help over the phone despite the risk of being caught on the edge of a cliff. When they face suffering due to the difficulties of their lives, let them know that God is greater than the circumstances, and insist on their hearts to pray to God. So that they may experience the love of God who responds and fills their needs and enjoy the blessing of believing in You.

We pray in the name of Jesus, Amen
