North Korean Laborers in Yanbian Eat One Meal a Day

“North Korean Laborers in Yanbian eat one meal a day. There is not much work. So even the Chinese say they feel very pity for them,” Radio Free Asia reported on the plight of North Korean laborers in China. Most of these workers are female workers at sewing factories in China, who have been unable to return home for two years due to border closures. They are going through difficult times similar to the days during the March of Suffering in the 1990s. We pray that the gospel will be preached to North Korean workers residing abroad and that they may believe and be saved.

“And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead—Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.” 1 Thessalonians 1:10

Lord, we lift up to you North Korean laborers abroad who have not been able to return to their hometown due to the Covid situation for more than two years. May the gospel of Jesus Christ be heard in their ears who are enduring day by day without hope. May they also receive everlasting life through believing in Jesus Christ, the Savior and the King of kings, who has overcome death and has delivered us from sin and judgment.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
