All policies and ideological education of North Korea begin with hatred that goes against the Bible. To make matters worse, as the economic difficulties continue, great resentment and pain are taking place in the hearts of North Koreans. The intensity of hardship that is upon the saints is so harsh that it is unheard of in other places of the world. The hearts of the believers are also stained with pain. We pray that all kinds of roots of bitterness will be healed and restored by the Word so that the believers will become mature to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ and become churches in North Korea fulfilling its mission.
“For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” Romans 14:17
Lord, we pray that all believers who are keeping their faith in North Korea may become mature to the whole measure of faith that enjoys righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. We pray that all the roots of bitterness stained with pain and suffering will be resolved in the Lord, and may the people realize that the suffering experienced now is not a curse, but God's goodwill to reveal the power of the gospel in the generations to come. We pray that the North Korean underground church members will be prepared as warriors who fulfill God’s mission to preach the gospel to North Korea and to the ends of the world.
