[Prayer] Giving Praise to God at the 40th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service

The Cornerstone Ministries, which began in 1985, celebrated its 40th anniversary this year with a thanksgiving service at the Ganghwa Mission Center overlooking North Korea, under the theme “40 Years of Journey, in the Promised Land.”

For the past 40 years, Cornerstone Ministries has delivered God’s Word to restricted areas from Pyongyang to Jerusalem through various means. Despite many trials, God has continued His work through this small ministry, comforting the suffering people with His Word. We give thanks to the Lord who has accomplished these wonderful works, and we look forward in faith to the new things He will do, proclaiming His promises in prayer.

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.

Give thanks to the God of gods, for his steadfast love endures forever.

To him who alone does great wonders, for his steadfast love endures forever.

It is he who remembered us in our low estate, for his steadfast love endures forever;

and rescued us from our foes, for his steadfast love endures forever;

give thanks to the God of heaven, for his steadfast love endures forever.”

All glory be to God who has called and used Cornerstone Ministries for forty years to deliver His Word to restricted lands from Pyongyang to Jerusalem.

We will obey and go wherever He sends — to North Korea, China, ethnic minorities in China, the Arab world, and Israel — to share the Gospel.

We exalt and praise our God who guides and fulfills His work.
