[Prayer] I Saw Dead Bodies the Moment I Entered Jeongori Prison Camp!

"I didn’t hate North Korea, even after I escaped and lived a hard life in China. That’s how thoroughly I had been brainwashed. It was then that I realized how truly evil North Korea is. The first thing I saw when I entered Jeongori Prison Camp was a dead body being removed. Until I was released after completing my four-year sentence, I cannot count how many corpses I witnessed. So many people were dying that they dumped the bodies in pits and burned them. Thick black smoke rose up, and the air was filled with a sickening stench. Before they died, people cried out, ‘I don’t want to die! Please save me!’ Even after I escaped again and made it to South Korea, those scenes kept haunting my dreams. I had nightmares over and over again." This is a testimony from a North Korean defector who is now a Christian.

“Thus says the Lord: Do justice and righteousness, and deliver from the hand of the oppressor him who has been robbed. And do no wrong or violence to the resident alien, the fatherless, and the widow, nor shed innocent blood in this place.”

Jeremiah 22:3

God, righteous Judge, we accuse Kim Jong-un and his followers have committed wickedness in direct defiance of Your Word. In Jeongori Prison Camp, they trample on human life made in Your image, treating it like it's worth less than a fly. Let this evil stop now. Set the prisoners free. Bring an end to every prison camp in North Korea, including the political camps, where human rights are crushed. Open the gates of groaning North Korea so that all people may live in freedom and receive the grace to worship You.
