[Prayer] Lord, please protect those involved in North Korean missions from cyber attacks by hackers.

A hacking group under the North Korean Reconnaissance General Bureau, known as “Kimsuky,” has reportedly used social media messengers to target users in South Korea. Through a Facebook account named “Transitional Justice Mission,” they posed as church evangelists, pastors, or researchers and initiated messenger conversations with many individuals working in North Korea-related fields. They requested support for mission work and ministry to North Korean defectors, then sent malicious files titled “Current Status of North Korean Missions.” Since one-on-one messenger chats, unidentified URLs, and unknown files can be dangerous, special caution is required.

“Whoever slanders his neighbor secretly I will destroy. Whoever has a haughty look and an arrogant heart I will not endure. I will look with favor on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me; he who walks in the way that is blameless shall minister to me. No one who practices deceit shall dwell in my house; no one who utters lies shall continue before my eyes.”

Lord, who hates falsehood and pride, as declared in Psalm 101, please thwart the wicked schemes of North Korea that involve impersonating church and mission workers to spread malware and steal information. Do not allow the stolen data to be misused, and protect those involved in North Korean missions from cyber attacks. Grant wisdom to those working to block North Korea’s illegal cyber activities, and pour out Your mercy so that North Korea may turn and walk in Your truth and instruction.
