[Prayer] May God’s love reach where even a minor slip of the tongue can lead to death

According to Daily NK, "In North Korean reeducation camps, even a minor slip of the tongue can lead to death. If an inmate expresses dissatisfaction—saying things like 'It would be better to die' or 'We work like animals but only get this much to eat'—they can vanish without a trace overnight. This is because camp officials plant informants among the prisoners. For these informants, reporting others is a matter of survival. In such harsh conditions, the mentality that 'I must inform to survive' has spread, leading to a competitive environment of betrayal." We lift up the inmates in these labor camps, places that have become living hells where people must step on others to survive.

Please have mercy on them. May the Holy Spirit personally visit them and pour out God’s love, allowing them to rest and find peace in that love. Let hope arise in those dark and brutal prisons, and may they overflow with the joy of being transformed by the beautiful glory of the Lord. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
