[Prayer] May Healthcare Cooperation with North Korea Become a Channel for the Gospel

It has been nearly a year since North Korea’s Kim Jong Un declared the "First Year of Healthcare Revolution." However, hospitals still lack even basic medicine. Since patients are required to find their own medication, people naturally turn to "neighborhood doctors" or private acupuncturists. Even then, only those with money and connections can find reputable private doctors; others choose to "just endure it unless the pain is life-threatening." The free medical care system remains nothing more than a symbolic gesture.
"Though he speaks graciously, believe him not, for there are seven abominations in his heart; though his hatred be covered with deception, his wickedness will be exposed in the assembly. Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, and a stone will come back on him who starts it rolling. A lying tongue hates its victims, and a flattering mouth works ruin."
Proverbs 26:25-28
Lord, we bring before You the North Korean people who suffer under a nominal medical system where, despite the slogans of "free healthcare" and "healthcare revolution," individuals must find their own doctors and medicine. Please grant grace to the poor and sick who have nothing to rely on, so they may hold onto You. We also pray that through healthcare cooperation with North Korea, the walls between the North and South will be broken down, and this opening will be used as a channel for the Gospel.
We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
