[Prayer] May North Korean youth who seek fortune-tellers find answers in God

North Korean youth are increasingly visiting fortune-tellers despite ongoing government crackdowns on superstitious practices. According to a report by Daily NK, many young people rely on horoscopes to decide everything—from wealth, career paths, and business ventures to marriage partners—seeking direction and emotional comfort.

We pray that these youth who stake their lives on fortunes would come to know God. May the Word of truth and life reach them and transform their hearts.

"You shall be blameless before the Lord your God, for these nations, which you are about to dispossess, listen to fortune-tellers and to diviners. But as for you, the Lord your God has not allowed you to do this. The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your brothers—it is to him you shall listen."

Deuteronomy 18:13–15

God, who gave this Word, please help North Korean youth who turn to fortune-tellers out of fear and uncertainty about the future to find their answers in You, God and in Your Word. Lead them on a good path, reveal Yourself as their Savior, and let the Word of life be delivered to them by Your mercy.
