[Prayer] May the Bread of Life Flow Through Trade Between North Korea and Russia

Flour produced in the Kuzbass region of Russia that were transported to North Korea earlier this year.

“North Korea and Russia are expanding cooperation in various fields, including education, sports, medicine, military affairs, and science. Amid this, 540 tons of flour produced in the Kuzbass region of Russia were shipped to North Korea earlier this year. Kuzbass is a region that has exported flour to North Korea several times in recent years; from January to July last year, North Korea's flour imports from Russia amounted to approximately 4.8 billion KRW, a 50% increase compared to the same period the previous year.” We pray based on the content mentioned in our Mission Research Institute report, <Russia’s Flour Support to North Korea>.

“Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction. Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man!”

Psalm 107:19-21

We lift up North Korea and Russia, which have become rapidly closer since the signing of the 'Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty' in 2024. Although food is being shared as a political and diplomatic act, we pray for Your mercy so that the Word and the Gospel, the spiritual Bread of Life most needed by the North Korean people may flow through the routes connecting North Korea and Russia, and that these pathways may increase in number.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen!
