[Prayer] May the Changes in North Korean Society Become an Opportunity for Evangelization

"Recently, young people have been showing their dissatisfaction with crackdowns by teasing the inspectors. When an inspector appears, they pretend to run away, but when searched, they have nothing illegal on their phones or belongings, essentially making the inspectors work for nothing. The stronger the crackdown, the more the rebellion of the youth is being provoked." This is a North Korean news report from DailyNK. We pray that the small changes appearing among North Korean youth will create cracks in North Korean society and lead to a movement toward evangelization.

Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.

We lift up North Korea with this Word and pray. Please let the strongholds of North Korea, which have opposed God and oppressed the people for nearly 80 years, collapse. May cracks form through the changes in the thinking of the youth and other social shifts, and may the Gospel of God be spread so that those who are trapped and oppressed may hear the Gospel of life and be revived.
