[Prayer] May the Unethical Military Collusion Between North Korea and Russia Be Severed

Analysis shows that North Korea could earn up to $14.4 billion (approx. 21.5 trillion KRW) from exporting military supplies and deploying troops to the Ukraine-Russia war. This estimate could undermine the core economic impact of sanctions against North Korea—the reduction of foreign currency earnings. Since October 2024, North Korea has deployed 20,000 troops in four phases, earning about $620 million (approx. 928.5 billion KRW) through soldiers' wages and death benefits. If this continues, they are expected to earn $560 million (approx. 838.8 billion KRW) annually just from troop deployments.

"First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth."

We pray for God’s good will to be fulfilled in North Korea and Russia. Please rebuke the hardened hearts of the North Korean leaders who treat human lives as a means of earning foreign currency, and sever the military collusion between North Korea and Russia, these two nations plotting evil. May the war end quickly so that no more troops are sent, and may all people, including the North Korean soldiers, be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.
