[Prayer] May They Be Restored as the Kingdom and People of God

"My three friends were publicly executed, and two of them were punished simply for sharing Korean dramas. One of them was only 19 years old. Their ‘crime’ was just watching dramas and sharing them with others."

"North Korean soldiers are sent to the battlefield without knowing where they are or who they are fighting against. The parents left behind in North Korea live in the pain of losing their children."

This is the reality reported by defectors at the first high-level UN General Assembly meeting on North Korean human rights. The North Korean delegation strongly opposed, calling it a 'political conspiracy.' We pray that God's kingdom will come to the troubled land of North Korea, restoring it as His people and His land.

'There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, who rides the heavens to help you and on the clouds in His majesty. The eternal God is your refuge, and His everlasting arms are under you. He will drive out your enemies before you, saying, “Destroy them!”' (Deuteronomy 33:26–27)

Trusting this word, we lift up the people of North Korea in hardship and distress. While the people starve, the leadership increases its nuclear power, executes publicly to block outside information, and sends soldiers as mercenaries to Russia, causing countless casualties. Have mercy on North Korea. May the idolatry and sins opposing God cease, and may God's kingdom fully come upon that land, restoring it as His kingdom and people.
