[Prayer] Pray for the Nullification of the Kim Il-sung–Kim Jong-il Constitution

“North Korea’s Socialist Constitution states in its preamble: ‘The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea is a socialist state of Juche, in which the great leader Comrade Kim Il-sung and the great leader Comrade Kim Jong-il’s state-building ideas and achievements are embodied. … The Socialist Constitution of the DPRK is the Kim Il-sung–Kim Jong-il Constitution, which legalizes the Juche state-building ideas and achievements of the great leaders Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il.’ In short, North Korea exists by Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il, for Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il, and in honor of Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il. Though long dead, they remain the reason and purpose for North Korea’s existence. I pray that this statement be removed and that all its legal effect be suspended.

Through this verse, I pray that the laws deifying Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il be removed and nullified, and that the sins of idolizing them, claiming them to be infallible and omnipotent, and defiling the land cease. On the day God opens the doors, may all people acknowledge and exalt only God as the Almighty Ruler.
