[Prayer] Preserve Their Lives Until the Day They Have the Opportunity to Hear the Gospel

"At the beginning of this month, a factory in Hyesan paid its workers three months' worth of living expenses all at once. However, 10% of the total was deducted for social insurance, along with 60,000 KPW for two separate condolence/congratulatory fees. As a result, the money the workers actually received was less than the price of 1 kg of rice at the market. In the Hyesan market, 1 kg of rice is traded for 45,500 KPW. Factory workers go to work every day in a state of virtually no pay, and even when wages are paid once in a while, so much money is deducted under various pretexts that they feel helpless." This is recent news from North Korea reported by Daily NK.
"In God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can man do to me? I must perform my vows to you, O God; I will render thank offerings to you. For you have delivered my soul from death, yes, my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of life." Psalm 56:11–13
We lift up the North Korean people, who are exploited for their labor by the state and struggle with severe economic hardship. Please rebuke the North Korean leadership, who show no interest in solving the immediate food crisis and are solely obsessed with building the regime’s security capabilities. Preserve the lives of the people, and open the door of opportunity for them to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
