Execution for North Koreans in Contact with Outside Information

“When I read the flyer, I realized that the Kim family are people too. Flyers directly tell the backbone of the outside world, so it is far more effective than movies in changing the minds of North Koreans. However, after the law on rejecting reactionary ideology and culture was enacted, accessing external information became several times more difficult than in the past. In the past, the level of punishment was comparable to that of short-term labor at penal labor facilities, but now they are subjected to imprisonment or even execution.” These are the remarks made by a North Korean defector at an online forum, “Information Freedom in North Korea.” We pray that God's word of truth will be spread to North Korea and the number of people saved will increase day by day.

“A voice says, “Cry out.” And I said, “What shall I cry?” “All people are like grass, and all their faithfulness is like the flowers of the field. The grass withers and the flowers fall, because the breath of the Lord blows on them. Surely the people are grass. The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.” Isaiah 40:6-8

Lord, we pray that your word will be heard in the ears of the North Korean people. May the word of God be delivered to those who are cut off from the outside world and who are only receiving ideological education given by the North Korean authorities. May the people be saved as they live a life that withers like grass and flowers. For this purpose, may the Bible be delivered continuously, and through believers in North Korea, may the gospel actively be spread.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
