In his report at the 9th Congress of the Workers' Party, Kim Jong-un stated, "We will permanently exclude South Korea, the most hostile entity, from the category of our fellow countrymen," adding, "(If attacked with nuclear weapons) the possibility of South Korea's complete collapse cannot be ruled out." The reason behind these statements is revealed in his claim that “South Korea’s ruling powers have spread their culture within our borders, attempting to collapse our system through it.” Ultimately, he is trying to save the Kim dynasty, which is facing a crisis, through the doctrine of "two hostile nations."
“And I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. And one king shall be king over them all, and they shall be no longer two nations, and no longer divided into two kingdoms. They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols and their detestable things, or with any of their transgressions. But I will save them from all the backslidings in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them; and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.”
Ezekiel 37:22–23
We pray that this word may be fulfilled in North and South Korea. May the wall of hostility that separates us be torn down, allowing us to worship God as one people and one nation. Cleanse us from all sin and evil, and let the Gospel spread throughout the entire land of North and South Korea, so that the Lord’s kingdom, ruled by God, may be established.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen!
