In 2018, two people being publicly executed for possessing a Bible in Pyongsong

“In 2018, two people being publicly executed for possessing a Bible in Pyongsong, South Pyongan Province”, “Even if they do not spread Christianity, they are punished as political prisoners just for their personal religious life”, “The Security Council always monitors people who go to China and calls them ‘strange’ ’,” and “I heard, ‘Where did the Bible come from,’ ‘people was punished,’ ‘You must not see it’”. These are the witnesses of North Korean on ‘2021 Human Rights in North Korea' published by the Korea Institute for National Unification. Taken together, it can be confirmed that the severe persecution of Christians in which they are sent to political prison camps and executed just by possessing the Bible is still being practiced. We pray that the word of God will be sent to North Korean believers who are persecuted, and that an environment where they can freely read and worship the Bible is prepared.

46 he said to them, “Take to heart all the words I have solemnly declared to you this day, so that you may command your children to obey carefully all the words of this law. 47 They are not just idle words for you—they are your life. By them you will live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess.”

As recorded in Deuteronomy 32:46-47, we lift up the situation of the North Korean believers who are in a situation where they cannot freely see the Word of God. God answers the prayers of suffering North Korean believers! May the Bible be delivered to them and the freedom to worship and praise God.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
