North Korean Society Restless with Increasing Thieves

“There are so many thieves that it reminds me of the March of Suffering. Recently, a captain of the Hancheon Fishery Office in Pyongwon county stole 28 nets and large flocks from another fishery business, installed some on his own boat, and sold the rest to buy alcohol and meat.” Daily NK added that other thefts such as stealing machine parts and various materials are also extreme in North Korea. Individuals in North Korea, are robbing properties of organizations to make a living, and stealing from other businesses to obtain necessary materials. We pray and lift up this situation to God.

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” Philippians 4:19-20

Lord, we lift up to you the situation in North Korea where individuals can only survive by stealing. Please have mercy on the North Koreans who are driven into a political, economic, and social environment in which they can survive only by committing theft, robbery, embezzlement, fraud, black trade, assault, and injury. Help them to know and believe in your faithful word that promises that you will meet all our needs. May the people in North Korea be able to live a blessed life by following your justice.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
