The 72nd Missions Conference, held under the theme “A White Stone, and a New Name Written on It,” concluded gracefully within God’s grace. Over 570 participants from all generations and nations including toddlers taking their first steps, elementary students, youth, adults, North Korean defectors, young teachers, and native English teachers from five different countries gathered to listen to the Word and lectures, becoming one through praise and prayer as they drew closer to God. The conference was filled with challenging moments as participants reflected on the promise of the "white stone" through the testimony of Saint Oh Hye-sun (a North Korean defector) and a field worker in China, witnessing God's work of victory amidst persecution, as well as Pastor Isaac’s testimony regarding North Korean believers and missions.
‘The words of him who has the sharp two-edged sword. I know where you dwell, where Satan's throne is. Yet you hold fast my name, and you did not deny my faith even in the days of Antipas my faithful witness, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells... He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, with a new name written on the stone that no one knows except the one who receives it'
Revelation 2:12-13, 17
Lord, You opened the 72nd Missions Conference, we thank You for allowing adults, youth, children, and people from seven different nations to seek Your face and pray for North Korea together. May we remember everything we saw, heard, felt, and were challenged by in our daily lives, and grant us the strength to live as overcomers who testify to Your grace.
We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
